Professional Experience:
Mr. Griffin is a partner in the Los Angeles office where he practices complex
business litigation and employment law. Mr. Griffin also manages the firm's
Labor and Employment practice group.
Mr. Griffin represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law.
His main areas of practice are employment litigation and counseling. He has
successfully defended employers and managers in discrimination, harassment and
wrongful termination actions before state, federal and administrative forums. He
advises clients in various aspects of human resources management, including
employee discipline, employee handbooks, sexual harassment, prevention and
disability matters. In the area of traditional labor, Mr. Griffin has extensive
experience representing employers in union election matters, contract
negotiations, grievances and arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings
before the National Labor Relations Board, and in union picketing and strikes.
Mr. Griffin also has extensive experience in complex business litigation. His
litigation experience includes cases at the trial and appellate level before
both state and federal courts. He provides expertise in a wide variety of
issues, including business torts, contract disputes, trade secrets, interference
claims, substantial collection cases, unfair competition, and intellectual
property.
